About Me

It all started with a KitchenAid mixer I received for Christmas. What began as a fun experiment in the kitchen quickly became something I couldn’t get enough of.

With a lot of encouragement from my partner Mike—and plenty of willing taste-testers among friends and family—I started baking more often, trying new recipes, and refining each loaf. Before long, baking became more than just a hobby; it became something I truly looked forward to sharing.

JohnnyBakes is the result of that journey. Based in Wakefield, MA, it’s all about small-batch, handcrafted bread made with simple ingredients and a genuine love for the process.
